The first coffee ever commercially roasted was by a fellow named Arbuckle. It became wildly popular, especially in the West, where it was difficult to roast your own, and thus, the saying that "Arbuckles Coffee won the West."
Arches Dreaming
Come visit Arches National Park in SE Utah with music by Cusco. This video is for my friends Jan and Geoff, kindred spirits in exploration.
Slickrock Montage
Just another fun day at Slickrock Bike Trail near Moab.
Let's see you top this, Vincent LaForet!! Nothing beats my trusty ol' EOS Rebel!
Utah Mysteries
Come visit the weird and eerie Fisher Towers in SE Utah, along with Utah rock art from the San Rafael region (Buckhorn Wash, Molen Reef, Rochester Panel, and Temple Mountain), as well as Moab's Golf Course and Wall Street panels. Fisher Towers photos by my brother, Roger. The rock art is Fremont, Anasazi, and Barrier styles.
A Taste of Canyon Country Flying
Join legendary Redtail Aviation pilot Lavar Wells for a flight through Utah's canyon country. We first have a short ground tour, then things get a bit more exciting as we take to the air, flying over the San Rafael Swell and Reef (Hondu Country and the Muddy Creek slot canyon), then on to Canyonlands National Park (the Maze, the White Rim, and the Needles), Grand Gulch, Natural Bridges, the Goosenecks of the San Juan, and on down to Monument Valley.
When we landed on a dirt airstrip at the historic Hidden Spendor uranium mine in the San Rafael area, Lavar grinned and said, "That's just a taste of canyon flying."
Lavar knows this country like no one else, having logged thousands of hours flying here. His dad is Bill Wells, famous pilot during the Uranium Boom of the 1950s and 60s.
Come wander through the old abandoned Geyser Missile Site near Green River, Utah, home of the testing of Pershing and Athena missiles during the Cold War of the 1960s and into the early 70s.
